What a beautiful movie! It stars Fahaad Fazil and Amala Paul. Fahaad excels as Aymanam Sidharthan,a youth wing leader of a political party. His versatility and talent cannot go unnoticed in this movie. He lives the character and the changes this character goes through with the right emotions. He speaks with his eyes and his body language is amazing. He is a funny, endearing and romantic hero. You just cannot stop loving him in this movie. I saw him do a romantic song and a dance with extras for the first time in this movie. He is good at that too!
Amala Paul is Irene, an Indo- Canadian lady who is in India on a mission and gets the help she needs from Aymanam. Amala is gorgeous and supports Fahaad ably. She is a stunner who is a cross between Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra. She is a delight to watch.
The locations, storyline, message and the warmth this film brings is exceptional. The songs are wonderful specially the one - you are my pretty flower. I was pleasantly surprised to see that the movie took us to the deserts of Rajasthan where there was a typical Bollywood style song and dance wedding routine.
Watch out for the scene where he runs away from the police during a rally and in the bus journey with Amala. In fact all the little moments he creates with his acting is textbook perfect, like a lesson in superior acting. So understated, yet right on point.
This movie is a must watch, especially if you are a Fahaadh Fazil fan. Wondered how I missed this gem earlier, it's a 2013 film. You just cannot miss this one!
